Real Estate Boom to End? NO!

Here is another positive article about the market:

Real Estate Boom to End? NO!

The naysayers are proclaiming the end to the real estate boom once again. Once again, they are wrong.

Boom, Boom, Boom

In recent years, it’s impossible to turn on the television or read the headlines without seeing a warning of impending doom. Experts claims there is a housing bubble and it is about to burst. Should first-time and move-up homebuyers be concerned? No.We keep hearing about the bursting bubble, yet the real estate market continues to boom. How can this be? Demographics are the primary reason.

Great info about Real estate investments from fatwallet

I ran into this little treasure of info:

Q: Does anyone have any recommendations on books for basic landlording, property management?

A: LANDLORDING by Leigh Robinson
“How To Pick Up Foreclosures”, by Wade Cook recommended by MaxMojo
“How To Buy Foreclosed Real Estate”, by Theodore Dallow recommended by MaxMojo

Q: How do I find out if an area is good for being a rental property?

A: MaxMojo said:

Try the local Chamber of Commerce, Realtor Board, or gov to try and find current housing stats. You’re looking for a low vacancy rate, low new housing starts, population growth, and a strong local economy.

More…Q: What should I be looking for in a house?

Costco Real Estate Services - Many cash bonuses

Curently, we are Costco executive members. One of the main benefits is their real estate services. According to the website, they will refer us to a “certified, local REALTOR ® and receive a generous cash incentive after buying and/or selling your home. ” The minimum bonus is $300 cash incentive which depends on the value of the house. Of course, I’m not saying we will pay the 6% commission. We will definitely go with the realtor that charges us the lowest commission and provides the best services. Anything is negotiable in my book.

Coscto also offer a $300 cash card for using their Mortgage lending tree service. They claim to offer lower rates and fees exclusively for Costco members. It is something to look at when it’s time to find a mortage and compare the rates.

Free $250 from Bank of America on Best Mortgage Value Guarantee

Jonathan from Mymoneyblog talks about $250 free money from just checking out a mortgage loan:

I was chatting with my local Bank of America banker about mortgages, and she mentioned that they have a Best Mortgage Value Guarantee where if you apply for a mortgage with them, but end up going with another lender, they will give you a check for $250. So if you’re shopping for mortgages, it can’t hurt to include them in your search.

I’m pretty sure this offer will come in handy when it is time for us to look for a mortgage loan…more free money…sweeettt. Thanks Jon.

To do list: find a local bank for our business

We just got our LLC done along with our EIN tax number. If you are going to open a business banking, you will need an EIN tax number. We plan on opening a checking account at a Brick and Mortar bank…most likely with Compass bank. According to their website, there are no monthly fees whatsoever..

  • Free Business Checking with no monthly service charge
  • 500 items processed free each month
  • Free Visa® Business Check Card
  • Free CompassPC® Banking for Business and 20 free online bill payments each month

**sometime, I will switch to write in first person if I’m doing it by myself so there won’t be much confusion.

I plan on going to Compass this week, hopefully the $100 bonus still apply (this was last month promo but we didn’t get our EIN tax number). After that, there are two banks online that offer business banking bonus.

AztecAmerica bank $100 bonus

bankatlantic $127 bonus

I plan on opening these banks after the B&M one in order to get these free money. Opening business banking accounts do not show up on your personal credit report, so why not take advantage of free money.
